I suspect its simply not configured correctly on the server side of things but somehow need to be able to prove this. I am not convinced as I have tried on several devices, several networks (including one without a firewall) with the same results. This has lead to a problem as our partner is convinced their end is fine, and its our side that is the issue. But when I try to use SFTP, I cannot get it to work. If I use Plain FTP, it connects without a problem. We need to use SFTP for security reasons. They have set up the server end of things and we are the client. We have been asked to start using FileZilla to transfer data with a partner company.
